Sunday in the Mountains

Sunday afternoon we went for a Morrill family party at the Spruces campground in Big Cottonwood canyon. The trees are starting to change color, one of my favorite times of the year. It was good to get together with the family as it has been a while for me. It was such a beautiful day, ending much too soon due to an unexpected rain shower.

This week has been one of reflection that has made me incredibly grateful for everything I have in this life. A wonderful husband, children I adore (every one of them), a nice home, health, friends, extended family, and all the little things that make life enjoyable. I feel so abundantly blessed. Life is good, it really is! And....I only have 2 1/2 classes left to go to finally finish my Bachelors degree! Woo hoo! I know I probably just invited trouble...but right now, today, all is right and I feel so happy!
