Happy Birthday Don! :)

Dad loves to have birthdays!
Look at that happy face!

With his sweetheart of 50 years

Man of the great outdoors!

Happiest as father and son...

No. I meant to say, happiest eating...

Oops. Wrong again. Happiest on couch watching football

.. or maybe happiest with granddaughers...

Downtown salt lake city.

Oh no! Jamie is about to order a 16oz steak again!

Jamie loves her grandpa

One of my favorite shots. (can even see some nose hairs)

Posing for GQ at the Happiest Place on Earth?

Disneyland day one...look how happy and energetic....

Asking for directions from his little buddy.....

Not as mad as the Mad Hatter

Rush hour traffic, even at Disneyland

Disneyland day 3....the picture says it all.

Happy birthday Dad!

We all love and miss you very much, and are looking forward
to seeing you later this year!

Convalescing

I suppose it was inevitable, just a matter of time. This is the inside of my right knee. That cute little heart shaped chunk of cartilage is what has been causing the pain in my knee the past two weeks. It tore off and started floating around, lodging itself in some excruciating place when I was least expecting it, sometimes for a minute or two, sometimes for an hour, laughing at me all the while. Well, no more! My Olympian hero, Dr. Eric Heiden (yes, that's right, five gold medals in speed skating Eric Heiden) pulled it out yesterday. :) I hope this was the last surgery for me...FOREVER. That was number 4, in 4 years. I am done! No more! I would like to keep the rest of me as is, no more owies! NO MORE!

Graduation weekend

Does he look smarter?

Corey and his cousin Staci

Dinner at Tepanyaki

Staci's mom, Debbie, had a big party at a park on Saturday to celebrate all the graduates in the family. Corey and Staci from high school, Jared from Georgetown Law, Marci from SLCC, and Jenny from the U of U. What a smart family :)

There was a pretty heated and long lasting volleyball game. Lindsey got some great action shots.

Colby showing off his great serve....or something...

Corey played awesome! I don't think he knew he was so good at volleyball.

Me and Rachel taking a break from volleyball to visit with Peter and grandma. Brittany missed out on the festivities...poor baby.....she's in Paris. I think. She hasn't emailed me, so I can only assume.

How did this happen?

9th Grade Promotion

What happened to my baby? Where did she go? This is just not right. I swear she was here yesterday. Time goes by way too fast. One day you have this cute little baby and before you know it she becomes a beautiful young woman. Congratulations on making it through Jr. High Lindsey! The best is yet to come right?
