Spring???

This is what I woke up to this morning. What happened to spring? The forecast for the next week calls for snow 6 out of 7 days. What the devil? Oh the poor little buds cowering under a blanket of snow and hiding from the chilly wind. I hope they survive! Come back spring!!! I miss you already!

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Has it really been a year? Time truly does fly when you're having fun! March 7, 2008 we were married in the Salt Lake temple and had a nice dinner with our family across the street at the Joseph Smith Memorial building. One year later we returned to the scene of the crime and had a celebration dinner, just the two of us, at the Roof atop the same building looking out over the beautiful temple. Highlights of the year have included:
Honeymoon in Cancun in March
Blending 4 kids, 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a hamster in April
Starting a new job in May.
Selling Peter's house in June in just 3 weeks....let's see, how long has mine been on the market??
Trip to San Diego and Disneyland in July.
New schools and new friends for Robin and Jamie in August.
Robin driving.....panic setting in....October
Thanksgiving aboard a cruise ship to the Mexican Riviera in November.
Getting a promotion and a big raise in December
Finally graduating from college in January, which is why I got the promotion, celebrating with Peter in Curacao.
Dinner at LaCaille for Valentines Day in February....
It has been the best year....I am one lucky girl! :)

Peanut butter and Jam!

Here is what I know about Jamie after living with her for a year now, in no particular order:

She loves to cook but her "creations" usually don't turn out. I don't think she'd argue with that.

She loves her daddy.

She lover her sister.

She's funny and silly.

She can have fun in any situation.

She is a friend magnet.

She is NOT a night owl. Always the first to fall asleep.

She loves to take her own picture.

She is happy and optimistic like her dad.

She's a ham!

She is cute as a button.

I have grown to love her immensely. :)
