Yesterday morning I had a hankering for an Egg McMuffin. So, I stopped at the McDonalds across the street from my office. There are two drive-up lanes, and both lanes had long lines. Just as I finally got up to place my order, a woman in a Hummer decided she needed to cut in front of me. At first I didn’t realize what she was trying to do, so I just pulled forward some more, as did she. Then it became very clear she was going to get in front of me whether I liked it or not. I tried to show her that she needed to get in the back of the line, but she started flailing her arms at me and yelling behind her rolled up window. I decided it wasn’t worth the fight and let her in. I thought that was the end of it, but no, the lady BEHIND me in her BMW didn’t like this at all. She honked her horn at Hummer lady and started pointing to the back of the line too. Hummer lady didn’t like that. Then BMW lady rolled down her window, as did Hummer lady. Here I am sandwiched between the two of them in my little car as they start yelling at each other. Then Hummer lady calls BMW lady “white trash”! Oh my! Where did that come from?? Please ladies…I just want an egg mcmuffin! It’s not going to kill anyone if Hummer lady thinks she needs one before the rest of us. Let’s just all get along and keep moving. Is it really worth all this? What would Jesus do?? J “I’m Lovin It”.

Easter Peeps!
Imagine my surprise when I opened the back door yesterday morning to see why the dog had not come back in yet and saw him trying to herd a mother duck and her babies! Just in time for Easter....real life little peeps! I counted at least 11 of them. Why the dog didn't kill them all I don't know, but I am extremely grateful! Poor mama duck got them stuck in the back yard and when I tried to herd them towards the gate where they had obviously come in, she panicked and some of the babies went through the chain linked fence, but she was too big! Fortunately, they figured out how to get back through and to their mama. After I took some pictures I went back in the house hoping they would figure out how to get back out and eventually she did. I haven't seen them since, but I sure wonder how they ever survive! If she had wandered in to my neighbors back yard I don't think their dog would have resisted the feast! It was a lucky day. Cute little peeps! I hope they make it!

Spring in Utah Part II
Yesterday was a balmy 75 degrees. Cloudy, foreboding skies, but 75 degrees. It started to rain in the late evening. Here is what we got this morning:
A good 6 inches! Oh Mother Nature....you can be so cruel!
