New Hobby

Peter has a great camera.  It's a Nikon digital SLR.  Pretty high tech stuff.  Unfortunately, no one really knows how to use it outside "point and shoot" mode, or automatic. So I decided to take a five week digital photography class.  The great thing about digital is you can just delete any unwanted pictures and not waste any film. Technology is wonderful!  Obviously I still have a lot to learn, but it should be fun, and I have such a cute little guinea pig to practice on! :)

I'm loving the flower pictures and, of course, the pictures of baby Layla. I look forward to seeing all of the tricks you learn in your photography class!

Hey Terry,
I use the camera bag software to edit my photos (I have no idea how to use Photoshop). If you end up getting an iPad, you can get the camera bag app for about $3. I got the app and liked it so much that I bought the software for my computer for $19. The website is http://www.nevercenter.com/camerabag/. There are all sorts of different borders and finishes you can do, like old school Polaroid, holga, black and white, 1970s, etc... You can't really do any manual editing, but that's fine by me. I like that it is quick and easy.
Sorry about the novel. Ha.

Thanks for the nice comment on my blog! You are the best. And you always look young and fabulous.
